Creative Sanctuary is excited to present Let's all connect about being human beings, an evening of togetherness with an old friend of the Sanctuary, Liana Gabel, and her touring entourage of upright bassist James Bristol (of the Hills and Rivers) and singer songwriter Ella Ray Knodrat. You may remember Liana from two artist residencies at the Sanctuary in 2016 and 2017 where she developed and recorded Go Outside and One Take EP, and taught tap dancing classes among many other things.
Through her music, Liana Gabel takes seemingly familiar stories, themes, and tropes about being human and transforms them into that which is profoundly unfamiliar and novel, yet warm and comforting. Her human beings EP, released…
